On 18th July 2019 the Grace Infrastructure in Pondicherry invited the management of Auroville Institute of Applied Technology (AIAT) to sign an agreement on CSR funding of English classes for newly admitted students of AIAT. Shri A.L. Shahjee, Managing Director of Grace Infrastructure and Shri Lavkamad Chandra, Correspondent of AIAT signed this MOU in the presence of Madam Mamta Sharma, CSR Consultant, Mr C.S. Dwivedi, General Manager, Mr Velmourougne, Head of Forging and Mr Nadarathinam, HR Manager all from Grace Infrastructure and Madam Angelika Kolb, AIAT Management and Mr Alphonse Moses, Vice Principal AIAT.
It is a great honour and appreciation of AIAT affords to skill youth under Dual System of Training in partnership with Grace Infrastructure to be selected as the 1st recipient of this CSR program of Grace Infrastructure. This program aims at to improve the English & Communication skills of the trainees at an ITI. 40 trainees will benefit from this program in the initial stage. The English and Communication classes will be conducted daily for 1.5 hours over a period of 2 months. After course completion the trainees should be able to read and write and communicate in English.
