The AIAT focus in technical education is a holistic approach based on learning by doing, enabling youth to become independent thinkers and to be able to provide solutions. Our teaching concept creates interest in learning, solving problems, working in a team, taking responsibility and experiencing technology while working on projects.

Currently AIAT is offering professional 2 years National Council of Vocational Training affiliated courses in Dual mode as well as regular courses depending on the course (see below) under NCVT affiliated courses.

Beside these professional courses of one to two years duration AIAT has tied up with Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation to offer short -term courses of max. 3 to 4 months duration.

The Collectorate of Villupuram has started a new skill initiative called “Salt” for the coastal youth of Fisherman community. AIAT is also part of this initiative of the Collector of Villupuram District (see more under TNSDC).

During summertime the kids has an opportunity to learn computing at AIAT for 4 to six weeks.
