New industrial partners under DST at AIAT

Today 1st October 2020 AIAT executive Madam Karin Latzke and the president of Information Technology Trade Association of Pondicherry Mr. Pranavabalaraman signed an MOU to train 12 trainees of Information and Communication Technology System Management (ICTSM) and 6 trainees of Electronic Mechanic under Dual System of Training/DST.

Earlier on 14th August 2020 AIAT executive Madam Karin Latzke and Madam A.K. Soniya Mary manager ST-Computer signed an MOU to train 12 trainees of ICTSM in computer servicing and Networking under DST.

With these MOU's our trainees of ICTSM in the 2nd year will have opportunities to practice servicing and installation of computer and network system in these partner companies.

With the signing of these 2 MOU's for ICTSM AIAT had signed MOU's with now 11 partners from the industry under DST.

In total 180 trainees of Electronic Mechanic, Information & Communication Technology System Management (ICTS), Fitter and Welder trades will get benefit of industrial practice under DST during the course time itself.

Under DST the trainees are exposed to industrial practice for 4 months in the 1st year and for 5 months in the 2nd year. Beside industrial practice most of the partner companies are willing to give a stipend for this training period.

The trainees trained under DST are better employable because they have been trained under industrial environment as per industrial need and have 9 months industrial practice.

Overall following companies in Pondicherry and in Villupuram district are partnering with AIAT under DST: GT-Electronic-India, Grace Infrastructure, Le Bracs, Appasamy Associates, Lenovo, Sunlite Future, Aureka, Manatec, ST Computers, ITTA and the Metal Scope.
