Shrimati Chitra Shah, Director of Satya Special School Pondicherry, inaugurated the CSR program of Grace Infrastructure "Promotion of English and Communication for ITI students" at Auroville Institute of Applied Technology on 19th of July. 40 newly admitted students of Fitter trade of AIAT would benefit from this CSR program. The management of AIAT feel honoured and appreciated to be the pilot implementation of this program.
This inauguration function was celebrated in the presence of the Shrimati Chitra Shah Director of Satya Special School, Shrimati Mamta Sharma, CSR, Consultant, Shri C.S. Dwivedi, General Manager, Thiru Velmourougane, Head of Forging and Thiru Nagarathinam, Head HR from Grace Infrastructure and Shri Lavkamad Chandra, Correspondent, Mrs Karin Latzke, Executive, Angelika Kolb, Head of Pedagogic, staff and students of AIAT.
After ignition of the Lamp and Tamil Anthem Thiru Velmourougane gave an introduction of the company and its units and told students about the importance of English and communication skills and safety precautions to be observed while working in factory. Shrimati Mamta Sharma encouraged the students to have goals/dreams of life and to acquire knowledge and skills to realise their dreams. Shrimati Chitra Shah said that Grace Infrastructure would support AIAT in its efforts for quality skill education. Shri C.S. Dwivedi said that the students of AIAT are lucky to study in AIAT since it has a very good infrastructure and facilities to attain knowledge and skills. Mr A. Sesudass, MD, of the Inspire Training Centre focuses on importance of self-confidence.
Shri Lavkamad Chandra thanks Grace Infrastructure for their continuous support and trust. He thanked Mr A.L. Shah the managing Director of Grace for the donation to make 60 toolboxes with tools. The AIAT students of current 1st year made these toolboxes. The management team of the Grace Infrastructure and AIAT distributed these toolboxes to the students.
