On 22/2/2020 District level sport competition was conducted at Sri Lakshmi ITI in Arakandanallur Distr. Villupuram, Tamil Nadu, India. Teams from more than 10 ITI's from district Villupuram took part. AIAT was present with 37 students and 3 staff members. Students were trained by Sivanesan, Sasi Kumar and Muthuvel.
Arjunan (student of Information & Communication Technology), Bharathi and Parthiban (students of Fitter) built a Football team and practiced together.
The following AIAT students won prizes at this competition:
- Santosh 1st prize in shot put
- Santosh 1st prize 400 m runner
- Arun Kumar 1st prize high jump
- Arun Kumar 3rd prize long jump
- Bharathi 3rd prize 1600 m runner
- Football team 1st prize
- Volleyball team 1st prize
