Cost effective Hand sanitiser - Project based learning at AIAT

On 16.3.2020 Honourable MP of Villupuram District Mr. Ravi Kumar visited AIAT. In his discussion with the correspondent of AIAT Mr. Lavkamad Chandra he ensured support to AIAT for conducting skill training for the rural youth. Especially he asked for short term courses for dropouts and unemployed youth of his constituency.

Mr. Chandra informed the MP that AIAT has already approved training provider under TNSDC for courses in Data Entry Operation, Assistant Electrician and Arc Welding. Mr. Chandra explained to the honourable MP that these courses are of 3-4 months duration and meant only for candidates above 18 years and who are either unemployed graduates or dropouts after 12th standard. These courses are free for trainees. For 10th pass out candidates a regular 2 years course has better future perspectives.
