A new project has emerged in the AIAT Electronics-Mechanics Department:

The aim of this project is to develop an automated plant watering System that waters the plant every time the soil gets too dry. This project was realised as cooperative work of 1st and 2nd year dual system students, their teachers Manikandan, Mohammad and our Austrian Volunteer Clemens.

The base is a moisture sensor, which is put into the soil next to any given plant. The whole project cost amounts to around 2000 Rs and took about 1 month to complete, because there was a lot of theory and testing that needed to be done.
